Fred Chapman, director of Segment Management, develops and executes
go-to-market strategies for Unica. Fred ensures that Unica articulates and
delivers the right capabilities specific to the needs of their prospects,
partners and customers.
Prior to Unica, Fred was a packaged solutions manager at Harte-Hanks and an
executive at Synapse Technology, where he drove a number of successful
event-based marketing (EBM), campaign management and lead management solutions
for retail, financial services and other industries. Additionally, Fred has 17
years experience leading database marketing teams at national retail banking
institutions.
As a recognized authority on key trends and results across B2C and B2B
enterprise marketing management, Fred has spoken at a number of national and
international conferences sponsored by organizations such as the Bank
Administration Institute, Direct Marketing Association and National Center for
Database Marketing.

the new role of Sales, Marketing, Service and Channels in driving greater

Previously, Lane was Senior Partner and Managing Partner with Peppers &
Rogers Group consulting company. Prior to that, he served with Hewlett-Packard
for fifteen years, most recently as Director of Hewlett-Packard's successful 1
to 1 relationship marketing initiative, as well as Director of its worldwide
marketing development. Lane began developing new organizational and marketing
strategies based on relationship marketing concepts in 1993, as he led the
re-engineering of Hewlett-Packard's worldwide marketing organization for its
consulting business, where he was also Global Marketing Manager. He also held
leadership positions at Hewlett-Packard in R&D, Marketing and Support. In
addition to his years of experience in the management consulting and high
technology industries, Lane has also held engineering or management positions
in the government and entertainment industries. Since 1999, Lane has served on
advisory and board positions in the technology, biotechnology and non-profit
industries. Education: MBA, Santa Clara University. BS, High Technology
Management, San Jose State University.
